Dr. Vasantha K Kanukuntla earned her Doctor of Optometry degree and Master’s in Vision Science degree from the UAB School of Optometry as a Beta Sigma Kappa honor student. She gained valuable medical experience during her clinical rotations at Alabama Ophthalmology Associates, Retina Consultants of Alabama, Simon Williamsons Clinic, and Kleiman Evangelista Eye Center in Arlington. Dr. Kanukuntla has specialized training in injections, minor surgical procedures, ophthalmic lasers, and basic life support (BLS).
